Our Breeding Objectives
All of our cattle have a focus on a set of 6 key breeding objectives, starting from the ground up.
Structure, Fertility, Temperament, Phenotype, Frame size and balanced EBV's
Structure
Structural integrity and soundness is a key focus in our breeding program.
Temperament
We only select quite and retain cattle. We don't want to handle flighty cattle and don't expert our clients too either.
Frame
Moderate frame cattle is what we aim for, with an emphasis on length and weight, with meat on the bone.
Fertility
All of our females are joined in a very tight breeding period. Replacement females are selected on conception data.
Phenotype
Eye appeal is important, we like good looking cattle, with depth, thickness and softness in them.
EBV’s
A balanced set of EBV's, focusing on above average data, while avoiding extremes.
